Development
"You
are not obligated to complete the task but neither are you free to desist from
it."
-Pirke Avot, 2:21
Fundraising
is an important part of Ezra's support structure. Our development goals can be
divided in three. In the immediate term: to bridge the gap between tuition
income and actual annual budget costs, as tuition and fees only cover about 70%
of budgeted expenses. In the intermediate term: to fund special projects, such
as the new science lab, the lunch and learn series, new text series, etc.
In
the long term: to stabilize tuition by building our endowment.
